How Does Solar Distillation Work?

Since the dawn of time, the sun has powered Earth’s water cycle — a filtration process perfected by nature.

We’ve engineered this natural process inside a scalable, modular panel. No electricity. No filters. No moving parts.

Just elemental forces, intelligently directed.

Solar Heating

Sunlight heats water within a sealed basin, initiating vaporization, or phase-change. As temperature increases, water transitions into vapor, leaving behind salts, metals, PFAS, and other contaminants.

Vapor Transfer

Water vapor rises and moves through a controlled internal chamber toward a cooler surface. This movement enables separation without mechanical components or pressure systems.

Condensation

Vapor condenses on a cooled surface, returning to liquid form.

The result is distilled water - free from dissolved solids and contaminants.

Collection & Storage.

Distilled water is collected and directed into on-site storage for immediate use. No membranes, no waste streams, and no moving parts.

Systems are deployed as modular arrays, sized based on site-specific demand, solar conditions, and operational constraints.

The result is a self-contained, ultra-pure on-site water production system that integrates directly into existing operations.
